Out on Bay Street 2026

Out On Bay Street (OOBS) is Start Proud’s annual flagship conference. For nearly two decades, we’ve brought together hundreds of 2SLGBTQIA+ students, recent grads, and young professionals to build connections with inclusive employers, develop skills, and get inspired by real stories from people making change across industries.

In 2007, a small group of students came together to bridge the gap they saw for 2SLGBTQIA+ representation in Canada’s business and professional spaces. What started as a grassroots gathering in Toronto’s financial district quickly evolved into Out on Bay Street — an annual event where students, recent grads, professionals, and corporate partners come together to build networks, open doors, and shape workplaces where everyone can succeed.Today, Out on Bay Street is one of Start Proud’s signature initiatives, helping emerging leaders begin — or begin again — proud of who they are.
