Shawna Griffin

As a Vice President, Strategic Initiatives, Shawna leads strategic initiatives across RBC Capital Markets, driving business growth through performance measurement and strategic alignment. Since joining the Strategy team in 2021, she has directed cross-functional strategic projects and developed frameworks to track and measure Capital Markets' performance against key business objectives. Shawna is also a strong advocate for diversity & inclusion and is a member of RBC Capital Market's Pride committee and sits on the Canadian Diversity Leadership Council.

Shawna joined RBC in 2016 through the Graduate Rotational Program within Investor & Treasury Services, where she built foundational expertise in client relationship management, operational development, and sales & trading.

Shawna holds a BSc from Queen's University and earned her MBA with a Certificate in Social Impact from the Smith School of Business in 2021.
